1 Samuel 17:33 NLT
"Don't be ridiculous!" Saul replied. "There's no way you can fight this Philistine and possibly win! You're only a boy, and he's been a man of war since his youth."
God is calling His people this to do amazing exploits that look like ridiculous over the top assignments.
At times people in our sphere would want to brand us in the mould of their perspective just like Saul did to David. ‘You are only a boy’! He even tried to convince David to put on his armour to fight Goliath.
This year is not a year for anyone to shape and form our year ‘BUT’ God! We have not been designed to submit to peoples perspectives and opinions. We have been designed to be our authentic selves and to submit to what the Lord is revealing to us just like David.
Act on what the Lord is revealing to you today!
It will seem impossible for people around us but surely doable for the God inside us. It will seem too great and immense in comparison with our own known abilities but the Lord is removing the veil of our own limitations that has blinded us for so long.
God is telling you today - ‘The scope of your dreams is not limited to the size of your income.’
We cannot allow ourselves to be paralysed by what seem to be overwhelming circumstances. God is greater than our circumstances.
This means the Lord and His plans for us are greater than the country we live, the economy we function in or the people we know.
2020 is a turn around for us if we would dare to trust the Lord and embrace His promises!
Peace comes when we stop trying to control the world around us and instead take responsibility for the world within us.
Inner peace is interconnected to our confidence in future possibilities. In other words, peace is intimately connected to hope.
Peace is lost when we are drowning in worst-case scenarios. Peace of mind is not about certainty but about hope-filled mystery.
Peace can exist in the midst of turmoil only if we believe in the beauty of the future.
Never let your lack of resources justify your lack of ambition. Never allow the measure of your wealth to be the measure of your life.
The possible will always fight and resist the impossible. This year is the year where the possible in our lives will give way to our normal destined life of the impossible.
Jeremiah 1:5-10 NLT
"I knew you before I formed you in your mother's womb. Before you were born I set you apart and appointed you as my prophet to the nations." [6] "O Sovereign LORD," I said, "I can't speak for you! I'm too young!" [7] The LORD replied, "Don't say, 'I'm too young,' for you must go wherever I send you and say whatever I tell you. [8] And don't be afraid of the people, for I will be with you and will protect you. I, the LORD, have spoken!" [9] Then the LORD reached out and touched my mouth and said, "Look, I have put my words in your mouth! [10] Today I appoint you to stand up against nations and kingdoms. Some you must uproot and tear down, destroy and overthrow. Others you must build up and plant."
