Saturday, 28 May 2022 the Lord stopped my prayer and clearly spoke the following word’s to my spirit;
"My son, I have called you to call out My warriors in this time. Warriors don’t seek comfort in a time of war. They don’t seek soothing words to ease any discomfort. Warriors seek the present truth of heaven so they can position themselves in battle and execute heavens actions. Discern were you need to be and what you need to do under the unction of My Spirit."
After the Lord shared the above with me I understand the Lord is continuing confronting our present position. Our present perspective. Our present attitude and most of all confronting our hearts to align itself with His heart. He will do so until you are well established in your new territory to execute what He intends to do through you.
There is no doubt that we are seriously in changing times were many questions arise in our hearts and minds. The questions in changing times are abundantly more than answers…..or so it seems. The Lord does promise that if we need wisdom we should ask of Him and He will be generous in giving us His divine intelligence to respond to our earthly matters.
James 1:5 NASBS
[5] But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him.
The Lord does not lack any experience and is wanting to share His heart with us in our matters on earth and especially leading us into the new He has for us. We need to understand the dynamics of the moment we rise up in the vision the Lord has for our lives. Whenever God gives a vision the devil opposes it and does what ever he can to disrupt it. Satan does not care when Christians pursue their own visions and their own plans, but when the Spirit of God is in operation, putting the pieces together for a strategic conquest of souls for God’s glory, Satan is worried and all kinds of problems and troubles break out.
Maybe you are finding yourself in a storm today….I fierce storm and you are experiencing intense conflict. Chances are you are doing the exact right thing and moving into the right direction and thus the reason for strong resistance from the forces of darkness. Push on because the Lord gives us strength in the storm and His power within us never gets intimidated by the circumstances around us.
In our own lives the last few years we have experienced and seen enormous amount of opposition. We felt like giving up many times but we did not. In times of discouragement, persecution and resistance were the evil forces of darkness comes against us, our families, ministries and businesses we find refuge in His presence. The only connection we can trust under severe spiritual attacks is our connection with the Holy Spirit. In times of intense spiritual conflict we can only put trust in our spirit and not our mind neither our emotions.
Instead of causing us dismay, we should take heart that it is a vision from the heart of God, and what He starts He always completes.
In life there will always be those who come along and mock a move of God. Like Sanballat and Tobiah (Nehemiah 2:10-20) there will be those who ridicule what they feel threatened by. There are those like the ten spies who could see nothing good in the promised land and looked on in bewilderment as Caleb reported too Moses. I wish I was there to witness the expression on their faces. The 10 spies must of thought Caleb and Joshua was out of their minds. The truth is; They were out of their minds because they founded their persuasion from their spirit who they could trust.
Please note we cannot overcome spiritual attacks and enter our promised land by depending on our intellect and emotions. These cannot be trusted. We can only enter the new and our promised land through spirit. Our connection in the spirit with God’s Spirit.
Caleb was of a different spirit;
Numbers 14:24 NASBS
[24] But My servant Caleb, because he has had a different spirit and has followed Me fully, I will bring into the land which he entered, and his descendants shall take possession of it.
We see how Caleb was lead by the Spirit of God and acted in the Spirit;
Numbers 13:30-32
And Caleb stilled the people before Moses and said, Let us go up at once and possess it. For we are well able to overcome it. 31 But the men that went up with him said, We are not able to go up against the people, for they are stronger than we. 32 And they brought up an evil report of the land which they had searched to the sons of Israel, saying, The land through which we have gone to search it, is a land that eats up those who live in it. And all the people whom we saw in it were men of stature.
God Himself gave this testimony of Caleb;
Numbers 14:24
But My servant Caleb, because he had another spirit with him, and has followed Me fully, I will bring him into the land into which he went. And his seed shall possess it.
I want to be like Caleb!!!!! I want to have a different spirit from the naysayers and critics who don’t believe any good will happen unless they are directly involved.
When it comes to serving God, we must never focus our attention on the size of the task, for it will squash our vision and enthusiasm. We should always place our eyes on the size of our Lord. In His perfect timing everything will happen as He planned and nothing can stop His will from being done on earth and in heaven.
Isaiah 55:11
...so shall My Word be, which goes out of My mouth; it shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall certainly do what I sent it to do.
I believe there is a certain kind of cancer among some of God’s people today. It is a spiritual cancer of unbelief among many Christians. They can only see the giants and difficulties, and are paralyzed with fear. Many are NOT responding to God’s invitation to enter new territory of greater believing.
We need to press on – God’s plan for your life will not condemn you to failure – it will lead you to victory.
David is a great example of a person who’s life spoke about faithfulness and perseverance. He had his focus firmly fixed on obeying God’s will, and did not care what others were doing or saying against him.
In the book of 1 Samuel we have the remarkable account when David and his men coming home to Ziklag to discover the Amalekites had set fire to the town and carried off all the woman. What was the response of these mighty warriors? Did they immediately pray together and set out to recover their wives and daughters??? No!
1 Samuel 30:4
And David and the people with him lifted up their voice and wept, until they had no more power to weep.
When Satan uses people to attack and slander us, let’s not sit around feeling sorry for ourselves and weeping until we feel like giving up. That will never accomplish God’s purposes in our generation. Let’s move forward in a spirit of forgiveness and meekness, but also fire and determination. God’s honor is at stake among the nations, and we must not be distracted from obeying our King.
After David’s men had finished crying they started to think about their predicament and blamed David. This is the same David who has led them to victory after victory over the enemy. They started talking about killing him.
1 Samuel 30:6
And it greatly distressed David, for the people spoke of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, each one for his sons and for his daughters. But David encouraged himself in Jehovah his God.
Herein lies the secret to following God and pushing through the obstacles that Satan throws in our way: David didn’t sit around arguing and discussing the problem with his men, and he didn’t try to convince them to change their mind.
1 Samuel 30:6
And it greatly distressed David, for the people spoke of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, each one for his sons and for his daughters. But David encouraged himself in Jehovah his God.
The enemy had taken all of David and his men’s families and possessions. David asked God if they could recover their property.
1 Samuel 30:8
And David inquired of Jehovah, saying, Shall I go after this troop? Shall I overtake them? And He answered him, Go! For you shall surely overtake and will without fail recover all.
When God gives you a word – no demon, no one will be able to stop it coming to pass.
Allow the Word of God to encourage you today – stand and advance in whatever circumstance He has called you too. Do not give up and do not bow to opposition. Opposition is merely there to test us and refine us so we can be a more effective weapon in the hand of God.
The apostle Paul frequently had dual factors operating in his ministry: Opposition and effectiveness.
He wrote to the church in Corinth - 1 Corinthians 16:9 For a great and effective door opened to me, and many are opposing.
Without opposition we will not be as effective as God wants us to be.
God will always create forward movement in our lives. He is always the light at the end of our tunnel and the tower of strength to withstand the worst storm that the devil can throw at us.
It is in Him that we find inward strength , peace, and overwhelming joy. It doesn’t matter what is going on around us, or what fiery darts are aimed at us. They can never touch the inner life of Jesus that dwell inside us.
Hebrews 12: 2-3
....looking to Jesus the Author and Finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and sat down at the right of the throne of God.
3 For consider Him who endured such contradiction of sinners against Himself, lest you be weary and faint in your minds.
David set the following example for us to follow;
Ziklag-like attacks are times and places of intense conflict. Ziklag experiences place an almost unbearable amount of pressure on our lives. It is during these experiences that what is inside us comes out and serves as either an instrument of deliverance or a tool that further enslaves us. The result is based entirely on what we have pondered, meditated on, and digested spiritually and emotionally.
DAVID’S KEYS TO VICTORY
Let’s examine the keys to victory David employed in the midst of his Ziklag experience. When all hell literally broke loose and his family was gone, his heart was broken, and his most loyal men were turning against him, what did he do?
David turned to the Lord and began to praise and worship Him.
The strongest spiritual position we can have is in the presence of God. Worship lifts us up into the heavenly places. There is a dimension of praise that is like a weapon tearing down the walls of darkness and releasing the glory of the kingdom.
David entered the presence of the Lord.
He turned away from the grievous battle and instead pressed into God’s presence.
David sought God for direction.
A spiritual attack typically sends your mind swirling in a multitude of directions. When you are under attack, you cannot trust your mind and emotions. You must live out of your spirit in those moments.
David received the word of the Lord, a promise and a directive from God.
His experience serves as an example for us: there is a present promise for every spiritual battle. The presence of the Lord is an awesome silencer.
When God spoke, David arose and obeyed.
That is another key for us: obedience brings the blessing. Obedience is thicker than blood.
The Lord is on a journey with you. Be sure the Lord will not take you this far to let you fail. He is about to surprise you with His overwhelming goodness.
Love you much
Didier
