Kingdom and attitude and it’s results...

We live in such a world of chaos and challenges. A world of uncertainty and continual change which increases the demand on our daily lives to change, adapt and to continually discern the way forward for our lives. We are fortunate to have the creator of the universe that resides in us.

In an ever changing demanding turbulent world we should never lose sight of this truth - the creator of the universe resides within us - and we have al the more reason to be clothed in His attitude to confront the challenges of a fallen world. Attitude reflects the condition of our hearts. Attitude reveals what we meditate on and where our focus is set on.

Attitude will have you stuck in despair or make you fly like an eagle over and above the affairs of this life. The wrong attitude will keep you stranded like a flat tyre, if the tyre doesn’t get changed, you are on your way to NOWHERE.

The things we focus on determines our attitude.

Colossians 3:17 TPT[17]

Let every activity of your lives and every word that comes from your lips be drenched with the beauty of our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One. And bring your constant praise to God the Father because of what Christ has done for you! God expects us to literally drench all our activities with His attitude. This means with His way of responding to situations and challenges. He would never expect this from us if we would not be empowered to do so.

Paul writes to the Philippians church and tells them with which attitude to clothe themselves;

Philippians 2:1-8 TPT[1]

Look at how much encouragement you've found in your relationship with the Anointed One! You are filled to overflowing with his comforting love. You have experienced a deepening friendship with the Holy Spirit and have felt his tender affection and mercy. [2] So I'm asking you, my friends, that you be joined together in perfect unity-with one heart, one passion, and united in one love. Walk together with one harmonious purpose and you will fill my heart with unbounded joy. Wow, Paul tells them because you are clothed with the right attitude unity has been the result. You get together around the purpose of God, around God’s agenda. Now this is kingdom attitude. Kingdom attitude will always center around God’s mind and always produce unity. Discord is from the enemy.

3] Be free from pride-filled opinions, for they will only harm your cherished unity. Don't allow self-promotion to hide in your hearts, but in authentic humility put others first and view others as more important than yourselves.

Kingdom attitude is; ”I esteem others more important than me. I become less and He becomes more in my life” I am not the big shot. He is the One that gets the attention and He is the One whose opinion counts.

Paul confirms this by stating the following [4] Abandon every display of selfishness. Possess a greater concern for what matters to others instead of your own interests. 5] And consider the example that Jesus, the Anointed One, has set before us. Let his mindset become your motivation. 6] He existed in the form of God, yet he gave no thought to seizing equality with God as his supreme prize. 7] Instead he emptied himself of his outward glory by reducing himself to the form of a lowly servant. He became human! 8] He humbled himself and became vulnerable, choosing to be revealed as a man and was obedient. He was a perfect example, even in his death-a criminal's death by crucifixion! We clearly see that our attitude is our outward reflection of our inward focus. It’s a clear reflection of the accurate present condition and focus of my spiritual person. Some of us need some adjustment in our attitude. The only way we can adjust our perspective on situations that in turns changes and rectifies our attitude is by becoming still before the Lord. Adjusting the lenses of our inward and external eyesight to the accordance of God’s word will shift our attitude to a God-like attitude towards the situations we face.

Psalm 46:10 says, “Be still, and know that I am God.” What does it mean to be still? "Be still” means to be free of chaos and crazy living. Being still is not an hour during church service. It is developing a relationship with Jesus every day of the week.

Psalm 1:2 says,

“But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and in His law he meditates day and night.” Jesus often left the multitudes to be alone and to be still with the Father. His example alone should drive us to the place of meditation. Do you know that faith is having the courage to let God have control? Being BUSY to try and stay in control will have you put on the wrong daily attitude that’s going to keep you stuck.

Busy means; B.U.S.Y Being

Under

Satan’s

Yoke No one wants to be under Satan’s yoke. We want to be under Jesus’ yoke which is light and easy. Let our delight always be in the Word of God which we only achieve through meditating on His word. Our relationship with God is more important than our daily responsibilities that can easily drive us and force us into the wrong mindset neglecting to press in into His presence. The most important thing to do for every christian is to spend time in His presence after which His presence will carry us to fulfil our responsibilities in His attitude.

What are other true results of a godly attitude;

Philippians 2:9-11 TPT[9]

Because of that obedience, God exalted him and multiplied his greatness! He has now been given the greatest of all names! [10] The authority of the name of Jesus causes every knee to bow in reverence! Everything and everyone will one day submit to this name-in the heavenly realm, in the earthly realm, and in the demonic realm. [11] And every tongue will proclaim in every language: "Jesus Christ is Lord Yahweh," bringing glory and honor to God, his Father!

The true result of protecting, guarding and applying a godly attitude to our lives by being humble in our walk before the Lord will be to bring glory and honour to God and walk in complete authority in our daily affairs of life in a chaotic and turbulent world.

Jesus says in;

Matthew 28:18-20 TPT

[18] Then Jesus came close to them and said, "All the authority of the universe has been given to me. [19] Now go in my authority and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. [20] And teach them to faithfully follow all that I have commanded you. And never forget that I am with you every day, even to the completion of this age."

Jesus gave us His authority He paid for at Calvary to go and make disciples of all nations baptising them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit (representing Unity) Kingdom focus creates Kingdom unity and attitude allowing us to walk in complete authority.

Meditate on God’s word and be blessed with a God-like attitude!

Love you much

Didier
